Our project envisions the empowerment of women in Uttar Pradesh while simultaneously safeguarding the indigenous Desi cows from the brink of extinction. This dual-purpose initiative seeks to create a mutually beneficial scenario that not only strengthens local communities but also preserves their rich cultural heritage.

Rural women's economic position is a worry. Despite farming and raising cattle, women generally lack resources, education, and income. Their personal progress and family and community well-being are hampered by economic inequality. Women get INR 278 per day for daily wagers and 0 for homemakers.

The general killing of Desi cows is one of the most upsetting things about their fall. Not only does this practice go against the religious and cultural beliefs of a large part of the population, but it also wastes valuable resources like cow dung, pee, and milk, which have long been used in farming and numerous home tasks.
| Our Approach
Our initiative सशक्त primary objective is to implement the core principles of Natural Farming (Rishi Krishi) by introducing indigenous cows and equipping women with essential skills for producing value-added products (derived from cow dung, cow urine, and Pancha Gavya, such as fertilizers, herbal cosmetics, and decorative items) . This initiative aims to harness the potential of indigenous cow (the most important pillar of natural farming) cow dung, cow urine, and cow milk while fostering multiple income channels. At the heart of the project lies a strong emphasis on empowering women and their families through active involvement and leadership roles.
